Paully Steele

Tulsa, OK

I’m Paully, a transgender artist with autism, adhd, ocd, and c-ptsd. I invented the Rotary Harmonic Tube Zither after having a spiritual experience microdosing psilocibin mushrooms for 16 months.

Paully is an ever-evolving experimental artist with their hands in poetry, music, acrylic paint, sculpture, photography, cinematography, sound design and instrument creation, claymation, video editing, and more. The vast amount of consistent self referential metaphors combined with writing from subconscious illustrate the neural pathways of their brain and outline the patterns of exchange between conscious and subconcious, documenting the psychological phenomenon of one human’s experience. Creator of the Rotary Harmonic Tube Zither. The music they create is sort of post ambient textural sound collages blending sonically manipulated environmental sounds with invented instruments arranged on an 8-track digital analog recorder. Paully also studies music therapy and psychedelic therapy, and has an inspired interest in quantum physics and nature.

I have my associates in psychology, will have my bachelors in music therapy soon.
