Elisabeth Ryder

Tulsa, OK

I have been drawing since I was a child and my first drawings were of my best friends, Morgan horses. I grew up on a small farm near Mt Hood Oregon. I’ve traveled around the world, meet some amazing people but I still prefer to hangout with nature.

Have you tried to hold a feeling or thought in your hand? I try and catch what I see and feel through drawing and painting. I am a self taught artist, I create art to explore myself, the world, and to become the best I can be as an artist.

I worked as a paralegal in real estate, corporate, and probate law for Tarick Lautfi, Chicago Illinois , I am now retired. I was a homemaker from my twenties to forties. When my kids left home I went to college for three years but decided after a back injury I couldn’t finish my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or work as a nurse because of my injury. Instead I went to work as a paralegal.
