I’m a self taught oil painter and tattoo artist from Tulsa Oklahoma
.
At a young age, sparked by his mother and grandmother introducing him to books of the old masters such as Caravaggio, William Bouguereau and Michelangelo. Myk has been strongly influenced by Baroque painting. A modern painter who depicts techniques of the great masters of art history, that go from the beginning of the 16th century to the end of the 19th century. Exploring the nude with dreamlike elements. Pushing the portrayal of the human condition in a light and dark scenario of haunting passion, beauty and sensitivity.
