Ashley Harris

Owasso, OK

As a self-taught mixed media artist, I've rediscovered the therapeutic power of Zentangle-style patterns and shapes, which serve as a portal to my subconscious. Through intricate designs and symbolic combinations, I process my thoughts and emotions, emerging with a sense of clarity and renewal. My creative journey has been marked by unexpected twists, including a transformative experience and the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite these setbacks, I've found new opportunities to monetize my art through unique sales channels, such as selling in 'essential' dispensaries where I worked. My art is a reflection of my personal journey, where the boundaries between reality and surrealism blur, and the beauty of creation brings solace and healing.

I am a mixed media artist, known for my unique style I named 'Lucid Dream Art'. I combine the calming tranquility of Zentangle with bold lines and bright colors to create symbolic narratives that transport viewers to new and unexpected places. Through my art, I've learned to channel my emotions and experiences into something positive and uplifting. I've overcome my own obstacles and challenges, using art as a way to heal and grow. My art is a reflection of my journey, and I hope it inspires others to tap into their own creativity and resilience. I love exploring the intersection of symbolism, color theory, and emotional depth in my work. Each piece is a window into my own lucid dreams, and I hope that by sharing them, I can help others unlock their own inner worlds. My art is a celebration of the human spirit, and I'm honored to be able to share it with others.
