Kiera Brunson

Kiera Brunson is a multidisciplinary artist based in Oklahoma, with over 20 years of experience exploring painting, sculpture, and mixed media. Her creative work is influenced by her background as an educator and student support, where she spent over a decade encouraging growth, reflection, and curiosity in others. These experiences allowed her to creatively explore her imagination and develop the desire to connect on the human level through her art. Kiera incorporates textures, color, and found materials to transform spaces into emotionally rich environments. Whether Kiera is teaching art, creating art, or just interacting with people she is driven by the belief that art has the ability to spark wonder, healing, and shared understanding.

My art is a personal act of self-reflection, and how I perceive emotion. Each piece is an exploration of my own experiences, and the visual representation of my vulnerability, struggles, and emotions. I use color, texture, and other elements to provoke feelings that are often hard for me to articulate. My art is my voice, when words simply escape my mind. My goal through my work is to not only to express my inner world, but to invite others to explore their own. I want viewers to see themselves in my work. I want them to feel deeply, and to feel like they are heard and seen in their own personal struggles and feelings. My belief that art and creativity can be a catalyst for connection and growth spurs me to continue to challenge myself as an artist, to push boundaries, explore new ideas, and techniques. I strive to create an immersive and interactive environment where I invite viewers to reflect, heal, and let their imaginations sore. My art is my personal invitation to the world to view a piece of my soul, and to join me in exploring it.
