Nichole Montgomery often refers to her creative process as doodling—a practice she has engaged in since the age of six. At that time, it seemed like a whimsical activity that others did not recognize as art; she was merely playing. However, many were unaware that she was actually using this practice as a therapeutic tool to cope with the traumatic experiences of her childhood. As she grew older, Nichole continued doodling alongside the persistent challenges in her life.
