Beginning Oil Painting: Master the Basics with Alyssa Fields - Perfect for those with no experience painting. This session is designed to be done over 3 classes or more, depending on the speed in which you paint. We will go over how to use different painting techniques and when to use them in painting. The first lesson we will start by doing a simple two value (white and black or white and burnt umber) study of geometric shapes to get a handling on blending and value. Our next lesson we will focus on painting a simple still life of an object of your choosing. This will help to get an understanding of light and shadows on a more complex shape.
