Discover the timeless beauty of calligraphy in this immersive workshop designed to condense a four-week course into two focused days. Whether you’re new to calligraphy or looking to refresh your skills, this class offers the perfect opportunity to revisit the fundamentals and elevate your lettering style, utilizing the Italic alphabet. Students will cover the essential tools and materials, the principles and structure of letterforms, and pen techniques to make letters come alive for practical applications such as cards, invitations, and more. Supply kit fee will include writing supplies and practice paper (ordered by instructor). You will be asked to provide a few other supplies you have on hand, such as pencils, rulers, water jar, etc. Supply list will be provided after registration. 


Course Fee: $175 

Enrollment Deadline: February 27, 2026

Supplies: Students will pay a $30 fee, paid to the instructor.


Artist Bio:  Teresa J. Wilber is an accomplished artist and educator with over four decades of experience in calligraphy, book arts, and related art forms. Holding a B.A. in American Studies with a minor in Art History from Oklahoma State University, Teresa has shared her expertise through teaching at Tulsa Community College, Philbrook Museum, Waterworks Art Studio, and Liggett Art Studio, as well as leading workshops across the United States. Her artistry has been commissioned by prominent corporations, including Phillips Petroleum Company, Williams Companies, and the University of Oklahoma, alongside numerous private clients nationwide. Teresa’s dedication to the craft earned her an Honorary Life Membership from the Calligraphy Guild of Oklahoma in recognition of her outstanding contributions to education and the arts since 1979. Her work has been featured in exhibitions in Washington, D.C., Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Texas, reflecting her enduring influence and passion for the art of lettering and design.
