Money or Life? How do you find the being when it is injured? Is anyone looking? Collaborators, Stephanie García (Mexican Dancer/Choreographer) and Peter Hay (North American Visual Artist) create a site-specific and multidisciplinary virtual performance based upon the historical, social, and cultural inequalities from the local to the international level. The work will be a combination of animation, video editing, dance film, and immersive installation created in collaboration between the two artists. This installation is not of the intention to entertain or overwhelm with color, light and gadgets, but to create a space where the viewer feels as if they are themselves in the performance. The thematic approach will move around ideas of cultural value vs. Western dogmatic structures such as; food sovereignty, climate and political refugees, and corruption.
