Art for this show is a nuanced conversation about toxic masculinity and the psychological trauma experienced by modern Black American men, who, the artist feels, " are maligned—wedged into the confines of many destructive tropes (violent, shiftless, lascivious, etc.), and not allowed by mainstream society to fully shed this misidentification".  Serpentine motifs and imagery will provide allegorical reference.
