This workshop introduces the basic steps in making a folk art mosaic for home or garden enjoyment. Participants are invited to bring an object suitable for a mosaic overlay along with favorite items for design work made of wood, ceramic, metal, or glass to create a unique artwork. The instructor will provide adhesives, grout choices, some additional materials for design work, and a basic tool kit for each participant. On Day 1, participants will prep their surface area, layout a design, and attach the mosaic layer. On Day 2, participants will grout and clean the finished mosaic.
