What is a Tunnel Book?

A tunnel book is a unique book structure that creates a 3D, tunnel-like visual effect when opened, and the illusion of depth and perspective.  

Tunnel books are typically made of layered pages or panels, with cut-outs that allow the viewer to look through the depth of the book.

We will create a tunnel book at the Book Dragons meeting on May 8th.

Bring as many of the supplies listed below as you have. I’ll have all of this, as will other participants, and we can all share.

•Glue stick

•Exacto knife

•Cutting pad

•Scissors

•Any tiny underwater paper cutouts of fish, octopus, coral, or other underwater creatures or plants (I’ll bring a lot, so don’t worry about this one)

We will also bring the pre-cut papers we will need to construct the book.--
